I think God is one and single with no equal and partner. the spirit is not a distinct individual but the power of God at work. Jesus in various parts of the Bible make it clear he was not God but a messenger who by the mission he was undertaking was honour with 'Begotten Son' and so i find it a bitter disturbing when some parts of the Bible is use to make it look like God left the throne to sacrifice himself on the calvary cross when he could get anyone to do it. or at worst use the word of mouth to clear this sin in the first place since he created without any sort of assistance. i feel the church may unnecessrily making it difficult for people to relate to God.
