n addition to the increase of the gay population, there has also been a corresponding increase in the number of transvestites and transsexuals.
Transvestites are men who like to dress up in woman’s clothes, along with putting on all of the makeup that women will normally use. Transsexuals will go one step further and undergo a sex change operation in order to literally try and become a woman.
Believe it or not, the Bible also has something to say about this issue. Again, it is back in the Old Testament, and many Christians are not even aware this verse exists on the subject. The verse is very specific and once again God says that this kind of activity is an abomination in His sight and that He will not tolerate or accept it. Like many homosexuals, I believe that many transsexuals and transvestites are operating under heavy demonic influence.
As in the case of homosexuality, there is freedom and full deliverance for all of them if they are willing to confess their sin before God, accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and then allow the Holy Spirit to do inner surgery on them by casting out this unholy desire and any demons who may be operating behind the scenes giving them this unholy desire.
The Scripture Verse
Here is the verse that will give us this direct revelation from the Lord:
“A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an ABOMINATION to the Lord your God.” (Deuteronomy 22:5)
If God is telling both men and women they cannot dress up in each other’s clothes – then I believe He is also implying they cannot go to the next step and try to get a sex change operation to try and change the gender they were born into this world with.
If wearing clothes from a person of the opposite sex is considered an abomination in the eyes of God – can you imagine what God must think about someone trying to undergo a full sex change operation in order to try and completely change the gender they were born into this world with?
Again, if God should ever arrange for any of you to witness to someone who is either engaging or thinking about engaging in this activity, show them this verse. At least they will have been warned by God Himself as to what His direct opinion is on this matter.
If the Bible says that homosexuals will not be entering into heaven when they die and cross over, then this verse may also be implying that this particular sin may keep some of these people out of heaven – especially the sin of transsexualism where a person actually undergoes the full sex change operation. If God the Father is calling this kind of activity an abomination in the above verse, then I would not want to be tempting my eternal fate with Him on this issue if I am a Christian.
I have to believe the sin of transsexualism may be one of the highest abominations in the eyes of God since you are tampering with and trying to change the very nature of who you really are by the gender that God Himself has created you to be in this life.
For those of you who ever run across a Christian who is thinking about undergoing a full sex change operation – explain all of the above to them, and tell them to go direct to God the Father and ask His direct opinion on the matter. I have to believe that God will come through loud and clear for them on this issue if they are really open to receiving His direct Word on it.

On transsexualism-
I am a diehard, born-again, evangelical Christian. I’m not one of those lukewarm Christians who say they believe in God but not necessarily the Bible. The Bible is the word of God and I accept everything it says as absolute truth. I do not try to twist what it says to meet my own preconceived beliefs, like many homosexuals and indeed the author of this article to a certain extent.
I am also a pre-surgery, pre-hormones female to male transsexual who has every intention of undergoing a full sex change sometime in the near future.
I am *not* under demonic influence. I am not rebelling against the word of God. If there were a verse in the Bible that said that trying to correct my birth defect condemns me to hell then I would accept it as truth and live out the rest of my life uncomfortable and miserable, because I want to please my Father more than anything. As it is, I have yet to find any solid proof that transsexualism is wrong; and I have prayed and prayed about it but I still feel no guilt about my decision.
I am a man. It isn’t that I simply want to be a man. I have taken all the official scientific tests and I have the brain structure and thought processes of a man. Ever since I can remember I have related to males and found females to be strange and mysterious. My female body feels disgusting to me and the very thought of having sexual relations as a female (being penetrated by a man) makes me nauseous, extremely uncomfortable, depressed, and downright wrong.
That said, I am not homosexual. The author of this article seems to assume that transsexualism is an extension of homosexuality, but this is not true at all. I am not a lesbian. I cannot be a lesbian, as it is not the thought of being with a man that disgusts me as much as the thought of having sex as a female with anyone, male or female–not to mention that homosexuality is a sin.
There are two ways to break down the verse that was provided. 1) If one defines gender by the brain structure, emotional and social mannerisms, personality, etc of a individual and not the physical sex then this verse actually proves transsexuality. A man with a female body is still a man, so this verse says that he shouldn’t dress like the woman he isn’t. 2) It doesn’t really matter anyway. This verse is in Deuteronomy, and while I believe that the entire Bible is the word of God like I said earlier, Deuteronomy is a rulebook for the old covenant, which is obviously no longer in practice. The only sins that are still sins are the ones mentioned in the New Testament under the new covenant. If this were not true then Peter would have sinned when he ate “unclean” animals and associated with Gentiles–but we know he didn’t since God directly told him to do those things. We would also still be burning sacrifices and celebrating all the various feasts, but we’re not because Jesus fulfilled and replaced the old covenant.
There are few truly Christian transsexuals out there, and I feel it is my duty to represent this minority. I hope this cleared some things up.
The above is majorly deceived. A murderer could use the same twisted, sinful logic to justify murder. For one to say they love God and defy Him by changing who He created them to be is mocking the Lord. These are the last days and the above poster, is manifestation of the evil times we live in. For one to point to science which is known to be godless to validate their erroneous thinking, reveals how far off the mark they are. The Antichrist will be in line with such thinking. That’s why in California they want to tell kids not to refer to each other as girls as boys, as Satan hates that God made them male and female. As Jesus said you worship me with your lips but your hearts are far from me.

PS Asher your a women being lied to that your a man. As Satan seduced eve in the garden to disobey God the father of lies is leading you to damnation. A born again Christian wouldn’t justify sin as you are doing. You said you prayed, that’s why God let you see the verse, yet you continue to believe the lie.
For the sake of brevity I shall restrict myself to pointing out only two of the numerous logical fallacies in
your “argument.” First of all, poisoning the well. You dismiss me as “deceived” and thus invalidate everything I say without addressing any of the proof I offered. Secondly, ad hominem. You argue against me as a person and ignore my actual argument. I believe if you put aside your preconceived notion that I am evil then you would see the sense in what I said. Alternatively, if you can find biblical proof that disproves my argument then I will admit that I am wrong.

For my entire life up to the beginning of my social transition I had to suppress the way God made me and act like I was a girl when I knew I wasn’t. That’s why I’m transitioning in the first place: I believe that the way God made my mind, social interactions, identity, etc. is more important than the way my body was born. Do you believe it is a sin for Siamese twins to have surgery to be separated? Do you believe it is a sin for people with ADD to take medication? Do you believe it is a sin for individuals born with two sets of genitals to have one set removed? All of the above are uncontrollable disorders just like transsexuality. By your logic, they are all sins because they involve someone changing the way God made them.
“A born again Christian wouldn’t justify sin as you are doing.” And a born again Christian wouldn’t fabricate the will of God according to preconceived personal prejudice, as you are doing. Please, if you’re going to try to denounce me as a deceived and deceitful follower of Satan, at least use direct biblical references to back up your claims.

Numerous scriptures have been pointed out to you. Scripture does not condone what you are doing, it condemns it. oh you are deeply deceived to seek to justify what Gods word calls an abomination. Goodness, I never knew I was a demon in human form. This is news to me. Honestly, I’m just a tad insulted, but perhaps it’s simply the new experience– I have never been told I’m going to hell before. Ever since the day I was saved I’ve always been 100% confident that I belong to Jesus and lived accordingly by every letter of His word, with a powerful testimony about the way He changed my life to boot. 1 Corinthians 6:9: I think your KJV is misleading you. My Bible translates it as male prostitutes and homosexuals. “Effeminate” was a euphemism for homosexual back in the day when the KJV was translated.
Romans 1:32: This verse pretty clearly demonstrates your bias, methinks. You’re presuming that transsexuality is wrong and that even I know it’s wrong in my conscience. It isn’t, and I don’t. This verse has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
When I first suspected my transsexuality, I read through the Bible with an open mind looking for *anything* that could be used against it before I committed myself to a transition. That’s part of the reason why I commented here in the first place: I wanted to see what the counterarguments were. I am now confident that any argument that people scrounge up is taken out of context and twisted to meet their ends. Unlike all other things that are almost universally considered to be sins in Christendom, there is nothing that directly
contradicts transsexualism. I know, I looked for it purposefully. It simply isn’t there. The Bible is silent on the topic. I took that as an invitation to pray about it and see what God told me, and I have no guilt about being the man I am. I suggest that you save yourself the trouble and don’t bother looking for proof against it; as I said, it simply doesn’t exist.
I follow the argument and cant accept/codone it or reject/deny it. I don’t think its my place nor anyone else’s place to do so other than God. How can any of you above possibly be the judge? It is one thing to voice skepticism or doubt her claim, but I certainly don’t think any of you have the right to judge. However Asher, I have no mal intent, but my question to you is this, why go through the trouble of having any surgery of any kind unless necessary? And if you are not 100% sure about the moral implications of it, why risk it?
Yes, that’s exactly it, thank you! I mean no one harm, nor am I trying to mislead anyone; I’m simply trying to present what I firmly believe is the truth on this matter.
In answer to your question, I intend to have surgery because it *is* necessary. I wouldn’t bother dealing with the insanely high surgery prices, the transphobia, the loss of rights, the exclusion from both men’s and women’s circles, the people telling me I’m going to hell (see above), etc. unless it were absolutely necessary. I can’t live with my body the way it is. It’s an extremely difficult situation to explain, but my body feels wrong, foreign, and disgusting to me, and it always has. It’s not a matter of vanity or insecurity over not being conventionally attractive; I’ve been this way ever since I can remember–long before I had any concept of what society deems attractive. Everything that I am is in conflict with everything that I look like and everything that people see me as, and it’s the most depressing, frustrating thing I’ve ever experienced.
Having a sex change is literally the only effective treatment for transsexuality. Therapy to try to somehow change the structure of potential transsexuals’ brains and their gender identity is completely useless. For many transsexuals, especially those who delay transition or deny that they need it, life as the wrong sex and in the wrong gender role becomes so unbearable that they are forced to make the choice between a sex change or suicide. My body and assigned gender are the cause of so much discomfort and depression for me that I can easily see myself being faced with that decision in the near future, so I am choosing to transition.
As for the moral implications, although the Bible does not explicitly say that transsexuality is good in as many words, it also does not say that it is wrong, as I have already discussed. Since the Bible is silent, it therefore follows that transsexuality is not a sin; otherwise we would be adding something to the word of God with no direct proof that God Himself has anything against it. In conclusion, I refuse to spend the rest of my life consumed by misery and self-hatred, possibly even killing myself, when all of that could be prevented by a series of procedures that are neither immoral nor sinful.

Alcoholics feel they “can’t live” without Alcohol, In my case I am a 30 year old Engineer and live in asia and own a company here and literally had hot model caliber woman coming onto me every day (sort of developed a sex addiction prior to finding Jesus and was sleeping with a hundred woman a year) – felt I couldn’t live without it, but now … if God asked me to I would never have sex again and be happy knowing I was doing what God wanted (have even contemplated that). So to give you that skepticism … when you say … “it *is* necessary”, “I can’t live with my body the way it is”, “my life consumed by misery and self-hatred, possibly even killing myself”, do you really believe that? Could it be that your condition (birth defect or wrong gender assignment) causes misery the same way the alcohol addiction causes misery for an alcoholic, but God/Jesus can help you rise above that misery? I’m not saying it would be easy, or that that is the case, or that you haven’t considered this already …. but all I’m saying is you should definitely think it through and be unbiased with your self while doing so.

Imagine it: There many and many transgender ladyboy in Thailand. The process usually starts with 12 yr old child. When became 14 yr (after hormonally premade) finish with the fully trans sex operation.
So our God can “realy” help in that case? Could give mercy to them? Or changes their sex organs again?
Can live a good sex life (in marriage) that person in Christ? Or sure… Christ is enough, be happy. Alone forever… This is not Good News

The references to alcoholism/sex addiction, although I believe I understand why you chose them, are different situations. Both alcoholism and sex addiction are classified in the Bible as sins. I think such situations are more “God helping someone overcome a habitual sin and bringing them (back) to Him” and not really “God helping someone overcome an uncontrollable condition.” Maybe God will work a miracle and change the gender of my brain or help me live as a woman, but the way I see it, if treatment is out there that will take away my discomfort and depression about my condition then I see no reason not to try it. I did consider this when I first heard of physical transition, and rest assured I’ll give it plenty more thought before– Lord willing– I actually start hormones and whatnot.

How about someone getting Botox injections, or a breast enlargement, or a nose job? Isn’t it kind of Vanity? Should you remove a mole on your face? Or just be happy with your physical appearance as God made you? I don’t have the answer’s to these questions for you, am just thinking.
I know a girl who had a breast reduction because she was physically having back problems at the age of 18. On the flip side of the spectrum their are woman who get breast enlargements to work in strip clubs. If I were born a woman, the first situation might be justifiable in my mind (although In all reality a cant relate).

Hell begins at Church – sadly. “I still find it deeply offensive when “Christians” condemn others to hell”.

I also know it from my personal experiences. I was totally disappointed from God ad the Good News after some years in the church. The false teaching, the deadly advices from this kind of “pastors and presbiters” poisoned my soul until I felt: I have no life, mercy in Christ. Because I listened and I was believing this shit. Some years past after many sins – I found my place in God. Now I see the contact with the Lord. It is silent but strong – without big words, pastors and fake promises.
Just something interesting I stumbled upon (important note – anyone can spew bible verse upon another to validate their arguments):
Jesus said this: “For there are eunuchs who were born so from their mother’s womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. To him who can comprehend, that is enough.” (Matthew 19:12 Lamsa). The Aramaic word m’haym-ne (plural) is translated as eunuchs here, but the root meanings of this word in this form are: trusted ones, faithful ones and believers. These “trusted ones” were also servants such as chamberlains, eunuchs and officers. In addition, m’haym-ne meant homosexual males because they were trusted around women that were married or were not of their family. They weren’t a threat in committing adultery with another man’s wife or in having pre marital sex with the women of the nation.
The born eunuchs in the above verse from Matthew are referring to homosexual males. The second part of the verse says: “and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men;” These would be the man-made or castrated eunuchs. Also, the eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men were those appointed by the king to be servants in the king’s palace. Some of these were prisoners of war, captives, and exiles (Isaiah 39:7 Lamsa). The third part of this verse should be read as: “and there are believers who made themselves castrated ones (or celibate ones) for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.” I have personally seen the word m’haym-na (singular) mean: a homosexual, a castrated male and a believer in the Bible. I haven’t seen m’haym-na carry the meaning of a celibate yet. But perhaps m’haym-na carried the meaning of a celibate from the males who were castrated. The last part of the verse is referring to believers that castrated themselves (or perhaps became celibate) for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.
Throughout the ancient nations that included Egypt, Babylon, Assyria and Persia; homosexuals were exalted to such positions as eunuchs that watched the women of the harem. Because of the mistrust of men, heterosexual or bi-sexual men were castrated; but homosexual males didn’t need to be. Eunuchs also had a recognized place in homosexual prostitution, and youths chosen as catamitic favorites were sometimes castrated. Homosexuality was long confused with eunuchry. Like effeminacy and hermaphroditism, eunuchry was sometimes thought of as creating a woman-man. The following verses will show that the Bible defines the trusted ones (or eunuchs) as homosexual males.
“Now God gave Daniel grace and mercy in the presence of the chief of the eunuchs.” (Daniel 1:9 Lamsa). The Hebrew word khe-sed means loving-kindness, mercy and favor, and is translated as grace in this verse. The Hebrew word ra-kha-mim is translated as mercy here, but means love. Daniel was given favor and love (plural) in the presence of the chief of the eunuchs. Most likely the intimate word ra-kha-mim, meaning love, was given to Daniel because he was handsome (See Dan. 1:4).
A second evidence where the Bible shows that eunuchs are gay males is in (Daniel 14:2 NAB), which says: “Daniel was the king’s favorite and was held in higher esteem than any of the friends of the king.” In the Aramaic Old Testament, the word friends is replaced with the Aramaic word rakh-maw-hi, which means lovers. Rakh-maw-hi is from the singular Aramaic word rakh-ma, which means love. Chapters 13-14 are in the Catholic canon of scripture. The Aramaic Old Testament contains fourteen chapters of Daniel. The Aramaic text of Daniel also has “the song of the three children” (Or, “Prayer of Hananiah and his companions” – Aramaic name for that portion) after verse twenty-three of Chapter Three. Dr. Lamsa, being a Protestant, just left out the additional parts of Daniel and Esther, plus the Deuterocanical books. Dr. Lamsa did insert an extra sentence in verse 23 that is not in the Masoretic text, but in the Aramaic and Greek text of Daniel.
The translators of the New American Bible translated the Greek word sym-bi-o-tes as favorite, but that is incorrect. Sym-bi-o-tes, according to Liddell & Scott means: one who lives with, companion. That matches with the Aramaic text, which says that Daniel…was living with the king. Separately, the Greek Old Testament deleted many words that are included in those extra two chapters. The Septuagint also deleted many chapters (and / or sentences) in other books, such as Chronicles and Samuel.
The additional words or text found in the Old Testament book of Daniel in both the Aramaic and Greek texts are probably not inspired. I included this verse from the Aramaic text to show that an Aramaic speaker would have understood eunuchs to be active homosexual men; as they were often the king’s lovers. Bagoas was the eunuch lover of Darius the Persian and eventually became the lover of Alexander the Great.
There is good reason to believe the so-called Deuterocanical books are inspired (at least most of them) but no good reason to believe the additions to Esther and Daniel are inspired. These additions are not in the original text of either Esther or Daniel. For Esther, the Aramaic translation has a commentary on the additional parts and states that they are not in the original Hebrew text but are in the common (or universal) codex and are also written down in the language of the Greeks. There is no Aramaic commentary for the additions to Daniel, but they are probably forgeries. Biblical stories appear to be in chronological order. However, a younger Daniel in the additional story about Susana appears at the end of the Book of Daniel (i.e. chapter 13 out of the 14 chapters); breaking the chronological cycle. The additions appear to be just put in with the original text to give more details about the prior chapters. These additions can’t be joined together into a single work (or book). There are no connecting words leading to the next events in the following story.

In the Hebrew Old Testament, the word sa-ris is translated many ways in the KJV Old Testament. It is translated as eunuch, officer and chamberlain. It is also left untranslated with an additional word as Rab Sa-ris, which means chief eunuch. The Hebrew word sa-ris is translated as m’haym-na in the Aramaic Old Testament, with the exception of two places, which are in bold print below. Dr. George Lamsa translated the word m’haym-na as officer and eunuch in his English Translation of the Aramaic Bible (Old and New Testament). The following shows where the words sa-ris and m’haym-na appear in the Bible.

Now, is this verse taken out of context?: “For there are eunuchs who were born so from their mother’s womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. To him who can comprehend, that is enough.” (Matthew 19:12 Lamsa). This verse is found when Jesus is speaking about marriage between a man and a woman. Then Jesus goes on and quotes this verse talking about people that it wouldn’t be good for them to marry because of the way they were born, or because of a situation, or because of their choice. – In order to get a correct interpretation of a verse, you have to know the definition of words and the way the verse is used in the context. But also, in regards to the New Testament Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John), Jesus a lot of times changed the subject in his teaching or when he was asked questions. Some of his words may appear to be out of context to a reader when they are not. So we have to go by the definitions for the word m’haym-na- Eunuch. Now this verse is actually not out-of-context in regards to males that it wouldn’t be good for them to marry a woman (wife). It would not be good for a homosexual male to marry a woman because he lacks the sexual perophone receptors that enable him to be attracted to women. He has more of the X-chromosome. It should be noted that a homosexual is impotent toward a woman. The other two reasons why a male wouldn’t be able to marry a woman are obvious by the meaning of the word m’haym-na and its associations.
Another thing that needs to be pointed out is Jesus’ last statement in verse twelve. He said this about the eunuchs that it wouldn’t be good for them to marry a woman: “…To him who can comprehend, that is enough.” (Lamsa). That last phrase is better translated as: “Whoever it shall suffice, it shall be sufficient (enough).” The root word spaq here means “to be sufficient, enough, adequate” (See Deut. 3:26; Matt. 6:34; Jn. 6:7) The literal meaning makes sense here so I am going to say this is what Matthew meant. The KJV rendered this verse from the Greek text as: “He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.” The Greek word cho-reo also metaphorically means to “receive with the mind,” “accept.” Though the Greek text isn’t totally exact to the Aramaic text, I wouldn’t say the translation is deceptive. If it is sufficient for eunuchs to avoid sex with women then they would have to accept their condition.
It is unlikely that Jesus’ reference to a born eunuch is referring to a straight impotent man. I can’t picture a straight man accepting his impotence or seeing his situation as being sufficient if he is lusting after a woman. Also, a lot of gay males marry a woman because they don’t know the truth about what the Hebrew and Aramaic Bible teaches. A lot of the males that are impotent toward their wives are homosexuals.
A COMPENDIOUS SYRIAC DICTIONARY
m’hay-min, m’haym-na, m’hay-man-tha a believer, a Christian, faithful, trustworthy, an eunuch

This Syriac Dictionary stops short of defining m’haym-na as an effeminate, but it does define the phrase “man of the woman” (gwar ni-sha-ya) as meaning: an hermaphrodite, a eunuch, effeminate.

Foreign Language Lexicons (or Dictionaries) don’t always give all the meanings of a word. If we go by only the definitions given by this Syriac Dictionary, then we would have a hard time understanding what Jesus meant by his use of “born eunuchs.”

Indeed, it’s an interesting issue. I don’t really have an opinion on cosmetic surgery outside of health issues (like the girl you mentioned) and transition. It seems like maybe it’s vanity, or maybe it’s just the opposite: insecurity caused by society’s inflated standards of attractiveness. In the latter case, I think it’s more the media/mainstream society’s fault for creating impossible standards of beauty and not so much the fault of the individual who felt pressured to conform. Either way, I don’t see a moral problem, myself.

Having read your comments I’m touched by your case of feeling like you have been born in the wrong body and now you have to undergo surgery to correct this problem. Whilst I can’t condemn you for your decision, I just wanted to encourage you to also seek spiritual help for this problem as a number of people just like you have. Seeing as you are a bible-believing Christian, you can receive help for your problem as we have seen so many do. Check out on You Tube a man named TB Joshua. Although cases like yours are usually prayed over in private, he has prayed for people with similar problems and given them a Word from the Lord about their condition and how to solve it. Some cases are demon influenced but the majority are biological, so you are not necessarily be needing ‘exorcism’ as has been implied, but you may be in need of either healing, or just a prophetic word to help you with guidance for your decision according to 1Corinthians 14:25. I don’t know what denomination you belong to as this may mean you don’t subscribe to the possibility that an anointed man of God in this day and age can give you a Word from the Lord Jesus and speak into your life, but in my personal experience he has certainly been used by God for miracles just like those in the book of Acts. if you watch his crusades in Australia, Indonesia, Africa and you are still interested, just send them an email on their official website SCOAN dot com and they will send you an invitation. If you can’t afford the cost of a flight they will pay for your ticket. You do not pay anything to see him, this is God’s work; my husband was just there a few months ago to deal with a major problem and all he paid for was just his travel and accommodation and that was it. I feel for you so much and I pray that the Lord gives you a direct Word to help you with your decision. You have probably already made peace with it, but perhaps this can be one of your final opportunities to seek God’s face for answers before you take the plunge.
