Prophecy From Buck Stephens – The Anointed Remnant That Will Be Coming From the Lord

his article is being typed up on 5/20/11. I recently read a book from Buck Stephens titled, “Secrets To a Supernatural World.”

Buck is an evangelist and claims to have had a near death experience with the Lord. Since his near death experience, he has received revelation from the Lord on different parts of the Bible, along with flowing more into the supernatural with the Lord, hence the title of his new book.

In this book is a very interesting prophecy he had received from the Lord. This prophecy is lining up with what I have personally been receiving from the Lord over the past 15 years or so. I believe God will be raising up an end time army to make one more powerful move upon this earth to get as many people saved as He possibly can before the Great Tribulation hits our world full force.

In the Word Buck had received from the Lord, he is basically receiving the same message. Jesus tells him that He will be raising up a remnant from within His Body which will walk with His dunamis supernatural power to help prepare the earth for His coming Kingdom. For those of you who do not know the definition of the word “dunamis,” this is the Greek word for “power.”

He also talks about how too many people are getting too caught up with the world and the material things in it, and the Body of Christ as a result is losing some of its supernatural dunamis power in Him. Jesus says there has been too much compromise with this world, along with too much disunity and a lack of understanding of His Word, along with not understanding the power that we already have residing in us through the Person of the Holy Spirit.

For the record, we also want to add that we are not cessationists. We believe that the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit are still available for the Church today. We do not believe that God did away with these 9 gifts when the first set of apostles left the scene.

As a result, the gift of prophecy is still in major play for all born-again believers, as the Holy Spirit can manifest this gift through any believer anytime He will want to do so. We just have to make sure that all prophecies always line up with the Word of God and that our spirits bear good witness to it.

Far what it is worth, I thought I would put this specific prophecy from Buck Stephens in our Prophecies Section, as it is telling us what God has in store for us, and possibly in the very near future with this anointed remnant that He is planning to raise up.

Here is the prophecy word-for-word. And again, you will each have to use your own discernment and get your own witness from the Holy Spirit as to whether or not you feel this is a true word from the Lord.

“Flaming Torches, Flaming Torches, just as in Rome, Christians will once again be used as flaming torches …

Yes, it is I, and I say to you the mission of the Church is expanding; it is at the point of increase for the end of the Church Age is coming. My Church has been effective in being salt and light and advancing the Gospel, which will continue, but a remnant will emerge who will transition the Church Age into the Kingdom Age. A radical change is coming and will take place as we approach the Kingdom, and the remnant of the Church will come forth in power, and their work will bring about My Kingdom.

I say to you, much of the Church is falling away, caught in compromise, disunity, a lack of understanding of My Word and the power of the Holy Spirit within them. They do not know the enemy and submit to his strategies and are overtaken by the poison within the atmosphere of unbelief. Yes, a change is coming, and those who are not discerning enough to see it, to become part of it, will not survive in a powerless faith much longer – they will either be swept one way or another.

Laodicea, Laodicea, I wish that all would come to power, heated with the power of the Spirit, but those whom I do not spew out of My mouth will emerge as overcomers with power and take back My Kingdom. It is they who will sit on the throne with Me. The powerless part of the Church will diminish, and the powerful will arise. I say to them, dunamis, receive the dunamis, the power of the Almighty – walk no longer in unbelief and change the atmosphere to a Kingdom atmosphere where belief dominates and the miraculous is expected.

The Church, My Church, My Bride, like Eve is partaking of the forbidden fruits, trying to cover its actions, hiding from the presence and power of God and substituting rituals and traditions for the truths they represent. My faith is not an intellectual faith, but a faith of understanding and power. It is not to be debated, just to be obeyed. Knowledge and understanding without power is fruitless. Call up, call up the power within you, oh dwelling place of the Most High!

The world seeks the supernatural, seeks that power, that presence of power lost in Eden, and Satan bewitches them with the counterfeit, the counterfeit power. He attracts them to witchcraft, sorcery, alcohol, the elixir of the evil spirits, the occult, that counterfeit power which mimics the heavenly power.

Books, movies, television display the counterfeit, and even My children, My Church indulges, for they do not know who they are, nor the power within them, and they foster the atmosphere of unbelief. The world looks at them and laughs. I spew that out of My mouth, for it is distasteful to Me, for it steals their power, their intimacy with Me.

This emerging generation will embrace witchcraft, the occult, or live vicariously though books and movies, and much of the Church will join them, but a remnant will break off and experience true power; the others will be swept away in a powerless faith. The need for the supernatural will cause a rising remnant to grab hold of true power, the dunamis the Church already possesses.

The last blockade of the enemy to stop the supernatural power of the Church is being chipped away, allowing sporadic miracles to leak through into the atmosphere of unbelief, increasing faith, and as the wall crumbles, miracles will increase in leaking through until the wall falls and the Lord suddenly appears in His Temples, releasing a flood of the miraculous, increasing faith, and ushering in the Kingdom.

Flaming torches will light the greatest show on Earth, for the emerging remnant is called to reveal the greatest power on Earth. Just as the physical flaming torches of Rome called attention to the Gospel and advanced it, so the spiritual flaming torches will call attention to My power within those torches, and My Kingdom will be advanced and established.

Becoming a flaming torch is painful, and many of the powerful will be ignited through adversity, infirmity, persecution, hardship, and peril, but I say to you, they will emerge, they will emerge – blazing with the glory and power of the Almighty!”
