I don't think it's that God doesn't want us to get married. I am sure he does want some of us to marry, but for some of us it's just not meant to be. If our divine destiny is to fulfill something for the Lord and a spouse would stand in the way of that, then I could see how one shouldn't marry. As for free will, we do have free will! It is our choice to follow God's path for us. God's perfect will is to benefit us and help us in life not hurt us. I believe the "God's Will" and "Our Will" goes back to power. Can we give up "Our Power" to serve the Lord. Wasn't Lucifer thrown from heaven because he wanted the "Power". I think it's more like a sense of being humble in your position. Being patient to receive what the Lord has in store for us. No one will ever know all the answers but I do have strong opinions on why we would fall into "God's Perfect Will", and I do believe it does have something to do with our surrender to serve him and not want to get to heaven and fall back into the same situation it was just like Lucifer and wanting to take over and have power. For whatever the reason may be, it just makes sense to me. I love the Lord and I just don't need the power. For once in my life, it doesn't have to be my way, I am happy to follow Jesus.

Why would god not want someone to get married, was woman not made for man. And my other question is, while within god's perfect will he will want you to do things a certain way, doesn't that kind of contradict free will which he gave us? For eg if you choose a job etc etc.

thanks for the feedback
