The Looming Threat of Iran
Long story short, Iran's new president, a man by the name of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is trying to enrich uranium for the purposes of trying to develop nuclear weaponry. He is trying to tell the rest of the world that he is only doing this for peaceful purposes to help generate electricity, but everyone knows that this is nothing but a smokescreen, and the real reason he is trying to do this is to be able to develop nuclear weapons so that he can then attempt to use them against Israel and possibly our own country. This man is making no bones about it. He is not pulling any punches. He has been accurately quoted as wanting to literally wipe the state of Israel right off the face of our map. He is denying the holocaust has ever occurred and he has recently made comments that he wants to personally destroy the state of Israel with one blow - and the only way he could possibly destroy the state of Israel with one blow is if he had a nuclear weapon at his disposal. In a recent AP release, he was quoted as saying that Israel was a permanent threat to the entire region and that the "Zionist regime is a rotten, dried tree that will be eliminated by one storm." His idea of taking Israel out with some kind of "one storm" can only be done with some kind of nuclear weapon - and that is exactly what he is trying to build! The fact that he is making these kinds of statements, and the fact that he is trying to develop the technology to be able to build up nuclear weapons, makes this a one-plus-one equals two conclusion. This man is hell-bent on trying to develop these nuclear weapons and he is not going to listen to our country, the rest of the West, or anyone from the UN Security Council. There has been major saber rattling over all of this between Iran, the West, and now with the UN and its Security Council. Everyone is trying to get them to back down from trying to enrich uranium, but they are completely thumbing their nose to the rest of the world on this issue. What is now occurring with Iran and its demonic threats against Israel is another powerful end time puzzle piece that is now slowly starting to form out and build up. In the End Times section of our site, we have an article titled "Russia and Her Allies Will Attack Israel." In the Book of Ezekiel, God is foretelling of an event that will be occurring in the "latter years." What will be occurring in this dramatic event is that the country of Russia, along with Iran and several other middle-eastern countries, will eventually launch an all-out full scale attack on the state of Israel. The Bible says absolutely nothing about our country or any other countries coming to the aid of Israel when this invasion gets ready to take place. Israel will be left totally alone to try and defend itself and it will have no chance to win against this huge invading army. Just as this new president of Iran is now stating, these countries will all form together in an alliance to literally try and wipe Israel right off the face of the map.
When God the Father sees this invading army trying to come against His own chosen people, the Bible says that He will have fury in His face, and His wrath will be triggered full force against this invading and unholy army No other countries will have to come to the aid and defense of Israel because God the Father Himself will take this battle up for them - and He will be the One to wipe this unholy enemy right off the face of the map - not the other way around as Iran's president would like to do. The Scripture VersesIn our article "Russia and Her Allies Will Attack Israel," I give you the full verse where this event has already been prophesied to occur. For the purposes of this article, I am going to go ahead and re-state this Scripture verse due to the extreme relevance of it and how it is perfectly lining up with the current threats being made by Iran's new president. As you will see when reading this verse, God will completely destroy this invading army by way of a tremendous earthquake, a torrent of flooding rain, great hailstones, fire and brimstone, along with pestilence, disease and bloodshed. The Bible says that this release of God's wrath on this invading army will be so great and so powerful, that every living creature and every living person will shake at His presence. The world will know, without any shadow of a doubt, that God Himself came to Israel's aid to defend them from this huge invading army. The second verse I will give you will show that it will take 7 months to bury all of the dead and another 7 years to burn all of their weapons that are still left on the battlefield after God personally destroys them. Here are these two most profound and powerful verses. The word "Gog" has been determined by many Bible historians to be talking about the country of Russia.
The rest of the countries that will be teaming up with Russia and Iran have been determined by many Bible historians to be the countries of Libya, Turkey and possibly Sudan. ConclusionAs scary as the above scenario is as it starts to take shape and form out, realize that even though sooner or later Iran really will make an attempt to carry out its threat to try and annihilate the state of Israel with the help of Russia - God Himself will intervene, and He will not allow this unholy alliance to complete and fulfill its mission. Whether or not this event happens before a possible Rapture or in any of our lifetimes remains to be seen. What will really bear watching is how Russia reacts and responds to Iran's continuing attempts to build up its capabilities to build nuclear weapons. Russia does not want any kind of military action or sanctions to be leveled against Iran at this time. They want to try and solve this problem through diplomacy as the rest of us would like to do. But we are now dealing with a man who is not going to listen to reason or to the rest of the world. Political threats, sanctions, or an outright military attack are not going to deter this man. He thinks he is on a holy mission from Allah and that Israel must be completely destroyed - and he is letting the rest of the world know exactly what he is thinking and exactly what he is wanting to do. This man is drawing a major battle line in the sand for all of the world to see and hear. He is letting all of us know, loud and clear, exactly what his thoughts and intentions really are. With this threat now coming onto the world scene for all of the world to see and hear, we are now all witnessing an incredible end-time puzzle piece that is now starting to form out and build up. For those of you who would like more detailed information about what is really going on behind the scenes with these dramatic events, noted Christian author and pastor John Hagee has just come out with a very good book titled "Jerusalem Countdown - A Warning to the World." In this book, he goes into very good detail as to what Iran is trying to do and how much longer it will take before they will have some kind of nuclear weapon at their disposal. He has also had conversations with several high ranking Israeli leaders and what their thoughts are about this unfolding dilemma and what they may be forced to do if the West cannot stop Iran from completing its goals. Israel was forced to take out Saddam Hussein's nuclear sites back in the 1980's, and they may be forced to do it again if the rest of the world does not get Iran to change course from what they are really wanting to do. The experts seem to be all over the map as to how much longer it will take for Iran to have a nuclear weapon at their disposal at the rate they are currently progressing. I've seen estimates ranging anywhere from 3-6 months to as much as 5-10 years. But at the rate they are progressing in this area, it will only be a matter of time before their nuclear capabilities are built up to a degree to where they could then build nuclear warheads and missiles. And if that time does come, and president Ahmadinejad is still in power in Iran, there is no doubt in my mind that he will try and use them against Israel and anyone else who may try and stop him. This man is bent on Jewish genocide just like Adolph Hitler was and he will not stop until his mission has been fully completed. As 9/11 and all of the rest of the terrorist attacks around the world has shown us, these radical Muslims are extremists and they are deadly serious about carrying out what they think are holy wars ordained by Allah. And if any of them should ever succeed in getting a nuclear weapon in their hands, I do not think there is any question that they will attempt to use it to further their insane causes. The Western nations, along with the rest of the major nations of the world, must all work together to try and stop Iran from being able to get their hands on real live nuclear weapons. If Iran succeeds in building any nuclear weapons, and they launch any type of nuclear strike against Israel or anyone else trying to defend them, the world economy will become crippled and paralyzed with what this kind of event would due to the production and flow of oil out of the Middle East. As scary and frightening as the above scenario is, realize that as Christians we have God and His Word - and in His Word is information and knowledge on all of the major events that will be occurring in these end times. In the End Times section of our site, we have articles breaking down all of the major events that will be occurring, along with all of the verses from Scripture to back up all of these coming end-time events. God goes more than overboard in His Word on giving us all of the information and knowledge that we will need on these coming end-time events so that we can all be properly warned and properly prepared if any of these events should ever start to occur in our lifetime. After studying the verses from Scripture on the major end time events that will be occurring, there is no doubt in my mind that we are starting to see the beginnings of Iran, and then eventually Russia, start to plan and form out a strategy to try and literally wipe Israel right off the face of the map. And the most amazing thing about this is that Iran's president is not even trying to hide this fact. He knows the whole world is watching his every move, but he is so insistent and so delusional that He is on a mission from God, he really doesn't care who knows it or what anyone else thinks about it. I believe his proclamations are purposely being made public in an effort to let the rest of the Arab world know exactly what he is intending on doing - and that he is wanting to try and unite the rest of the Arab world to follow his insane cause and his grand delusions of total world domination - and nuclear weapons will be able to give them the means to be able to do this. This is why I believe this man is not going to pull back, desist, or change course on what he is trying to do with the enrichment of uranium.
