Admittedly I have only given your full article a cursory read, I have to speak up about the very first verse you mention; you use a possible translation of that verse to establish a biblical rule that doesn't exist, the more commonly accepted version being 'for he is like one who is inwardly calculating' which is actually beside the point as the context of the verse does not fit your conclusion.

As for your conditions for blessing and even whether or not this blessing is easily applicable in the new covenant which has an entirely eternal viewpoint (essentially there is no death for us) and all that, I believe you got to a good conclusion at the end with your 'bottom line' trust God and follow him with devotion.

Anyway that is just my two cents, and I should point out that the overall feel of the site is very much one of humble devotion to God and I really do love what the site aims to do, I hope this isn't taken as 'being critical' there should always be room for theological discussions among christians :D

Inspiring article! Thank you very much for this. I lost my husband at a very young age and this 13 years ago leaving behind two young children and I used to question why? Whilst I dont know yet whay he was taken so early at a time we needed him most, I belive God had a good reason and one day I will understand!

God indeed unquestionable. It requires faith to walk with Him believing in all situation that His thought is always that of good, peace and not evil. Everyone in this trying time God'll see us through. My wifes'language always till her departure is IT'S WELL. At prime age, It's weLl indeed
