From there, speak out loud to the demons, telling them to back off and not to interfere with the conversation you will be having with this person. A lot of people do not say this out loud to the person they will be witnessing too as it would just freak them out. That is why I would recommend that you go into another room if you can and then do it from there. There is no distance in the realm of the spirit, so the demons will hear you loud and clear if you do it from another location. Mike Sister V,

I was studying the subject on the Internet and had acquired a comprehensive inventory of evangelistic tracts to give out and was beginning to study "casting out demons in Jesus' name".....when Carolyn wanted to talk with me at the park...about her "man-problem." Her ex-boyfriend was a heroine addict who kept visiting her to "sleep over." She complained that she felt so sorry for him, she couldn't turn him away. She had smoked pot (maruwana...you know - that stinky-smellin' stuff), mentioned being in AA. I got an insite that she had unclean spirits on and in her. Also, she'd been married 8 years to a Buddhist. Upon inquiry about her spiritual protection, she said her picture of Paramahansa Yogananda (Hindu Indian guru, founder of Self-Realization Fellowship here in the States) gave her courage. At the time, I had "reviewed" all 50 churches here for my evangelism ministry and found only one strong on evangelism that I recommended to her. Next time we spoke, she told me that she had started going to that church AND its women's Bible study...and she was in bliss because they were the nicest women she'd ever known! I gave her the packet of tracts that I had selected that would minister to her rite where she was in her spiritual journey ~ about women & lies, about drugs, about other religions and, of course, about Jesus, Repentance and Salvation. She was thankful. Few months went by. Sometimes I'd see her at the library ~ disshevelled, like "out of it" and I wondered if she was "using" (alcohol or ?)...or if it was just her demons. When she looked alert, I asked to speak with her. Had she read the tracts? `No, I gave them to someone whom I thot needed them more.' I warned her that her spiritual Salvation was dependent upon her relationship with Jesus, not the gals at the church. She jumped up and exclaimed `You're one of those people who think you're rite and everyone else is wrong! I'll pray for you!'...and left angrily. My heart sank. Personalized evangelism wasted? I had not tried to evangelize her with talk. I had given her tracts...but her demons still aborted that by deceiving her into believing that she didn't need to read them. Then, they interrupted me and got her angry at me. I'm evangelizing strangers, not relatives or friends. By giving out a personalized packet of tracts, they get more than they could ever hear coming out of my mouth and they don't feel like a "captive audience", plus they have plenty of time at home to read ( and re-read) them. Sometimes, there will be time for me to have a brief talk with someone, but usually not, I've found ~ out in public. Until I read this article, I had no idea that the deceiving spirits in people "ran interference" on ALL evangelistic attempts towards the person they live in. Now I have one more thing I have to contend with in my ministry! QUESTION to the author ~ If I'm standing in front of a person, How can I give orders, out loud, to their demons?
