I AM SO GRATEFUL OF HER PRAYERS AND HER ABILITY TO COMFORT THOSE AROUND HER. SHE TRULY IS A TREASURED GIFT FROM ABOVE. THESE ARE SOME WORDS SHE RECIEVED FROM THE LORD

“I speak. My Voice thunders. Yes, heaven and earth shake at the sound of My Voice. But you, be not moved. Stand. Stand firm. Stand still and see My glory.
Is there anything too hard for me? Trust. Trust and obey. You will see My glory. You will see My goodness. I have spoken it. I will perform it. It shall come to pass.
Who can overthrow My throne? Who can disannul My Word? Be at peace and rest. Enter faith’s rest. You have done your part – now trust Me to perform My Word. It is eternal.

I had read that the life of a Christian is nothing less than holy desire. The Lord spoke to me “I say, the life of a good Christian is nothing more than holy desire.”
What He was saying is that our life is defined by nothing else than the degree of our holy desire for Him.

It’s wonderful to be used by God!

So the Sunday before last I was in church and we go to a large church which is something I am not really use to so that in itself can be for me a little intimidating! Our pastor asked after our praise and worship was over to meet and greet people around us which is the normal thing we do every Sunday.

The pastor asked us to take a few moments and just grab a few people and pray for whatever requests were spoken…..So I was like oh my gosh Lord are you asking me to pray out loud? Like so everyone can hear me? Knowing how I struggled with that I found myself in a situation I could really not avoid so………I just smiled and said ooooooook. Really inside I was freaking out!

So we asked the couple in front of us to be in our group and it was just us four. We both prayed for each other’s different needs and it was a great experience.

Then pastor started his sermon and we were in the book of Acts…he was talking about when God’s voice said to Saul “Saul Saul Why are you persecuting me?”

In the verses 3-12 was our focusing points and I was listening to the pastor when all the sudden I heard something in my head telling me “I want you to pray for healing to the gentlemen sitting to the right of you, I want you to pray for a physical healing and I want you to lay hands on this person.”

I was like Huh?? Then I was like “Is this my own mind thinking this or was this the Lord speaking to me?” Then after a few minutes I thought to myself “Did I hear what I think I heard?”

Then I heard this again and this time was said “Yes, I want you to lay hands on this person and ask for a physical healing.” Then I thought to myself “Really?” “Are you sure you want me to do this?” Then I heard “Yes!”

By this time I was like not really paying attention because my thoughts were flooded with all this. I was really questioning the Lord reason being was because I am at a place in my walk with God where I am learning to be Led By the Holy Spirit and I am trying to understand when it’s Him speaking to me or my own thoughts so often times I question Him.

But thanks be to God he understands and he simply guides me! He is so awesome!

Then of course I asked again and again and then I started to feel a little sick at my stomach. I thought “Am I hurting the Lord by not doing what he has told me to do? Then I felt bad and said I was sorry…please forgive me!”

Of course the sick ache I had could have come from my nerves as well. I mean I was flooded with thoughts! So I thought to myself ok if you really want me to do this then I will. I as totally out of my comfort zone!Way out!

After a while I started to question the Lord again because it was coming towards the end of the sermon when I thought to myself I am just going to flip through some of the pages and Lord please can you give me one more sign?

Then I started turning the pages of my bible and then I came to this one page in Acts 15 verse 17 and the words just popped out at me like as soon as I turned the page! It said “The Lord has spoken” I was like oh my gosh!! Ok, double freak out moment!

Then I kept turning a couple of more pages and then in Acts 18 verse 9 this jumped out at me just the same as the other and i knew it was the Lord! It said “Don’t be afraid!” “Speak out!” “Don’t be silent”

WOW! I was like ooooooooooooK Now you have my complete attention!

After all that I was convinced it was the Lord! I thought to myself ok I will be obedient and leave the results up to God! And I did. After the service was over I turned towards the man and said to him….”Hi, my name is Tina and I would normally not do this but I really felt the Lord wanted me to pray for a physical healing for you?” “By any chance do you have a back condition?”

Now I had this inner knowing that it was his back I think the Lord gave me that….But then you should have seen the man’s face! His eyes got really big around and he just as stunned! Probably as much as I was!

He said “Yes!” “I do have a problem with my back!” By then I was like really freaking out. So I showed him what verses popped out at me and I told him that I was back and forth with this the whole church service and I said “Hey if you don’t mind can I pray for a physical healing for you?” And leave the results up to God?

Of course the man was like “Sure!” and so I did. I prayed for a radical healing in Jesus name and I layed hands of him and at the end I said I am praying this because I feel like you have asked me to, I will leave the results up to you and then I said to the man “Now it’s up to you to receive it!”

When we left church I heard Jesus say Thank you for being obedient! And I thought to myself that was cool but weird! Really it’s not something that has ever happened to me and so it was really weird to me.

A week later this past Sunday we were headed into the church for services and as we walked up towards the doors that man was standing there!

He was lit up like a Christmas tree just glowing from ear to ear happy and in no pain whatsoever as a matter of fact he opened the door and he said this to me “I am so excited to see you walk up this morning, I wanted to say thank you so much for being obedient I am amazedly better! I feel great! Thank you so much! I could not wait to tell you!”

God healed him! How Cool is That!!!!

I was beside myself to be used by God in that way…I had to share this with you all I wanted you to know his amazing power! He really will talk to you it’s just that often times we just don’t understand that it’s him!

I will only give some of the highlights of this book but really I recommend you reading the book. There is to much information to put into one blog. The next two or three blogs will be on this topic. It is extremely important! And after learning what the bible says on hell and reading this book, I wouldn’t want one person to go there. It’s a real eye opener.

Here are some bible verses: “For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts.” Malachi 4:1 KJV

…and will cast them into the furnace of fire. Matthew 13:42

….I am tormented in this flame. Luke 16:24

IF A MAN ABIDE NOT IN ME, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6 KJV

And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit…..and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. Revelation 9:2 KJV

For they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth…with them that go down to the pit. Ezekiel 31:14 KJV

Ok! So here are just a FEW verses that speak on hell. There is MANY more in the bible. There are some key phrases I want you to look at.

First “I am tormented in this flame” That is not past tense! It does not say I WAS tormented it says I AM tormented! What does that say about hell? That it is real and it is for the unsaved in this present time.

Second “IF a man abide not in me, he is cast forth.” That means if you do not have Jesus Christ as your Lord and you are not saved then you are going to that dreadful place. It’s not my opinion it’s what the Word of GOD SAYS!

Here are some of the highlights from the book

I was catapulted out of my bed into the pit of hell. I was in a cell and as I lay there on the floor I felt extremely weak stated Bill. I still had a my body and when I lifted my head I could see two enormous beasts, unlike anything I have ever seen before! They were about 13 feet tall and they were not of the natural world. I could sense they were evil and they paralyzed me with fear. The creatures were not human nor where they animals but somehow I knew they meant me harm. I wanted to try and run but I had absolutely NO STRENGTH!

Psalms 88:4 states “I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength” KJV Somehow I had the understanding that death penetrated me, but eluded me. The mental anguish I felt was indescribable Bill stated. The smell of this place was so foul I thought that alone should have killed me but it didn’t it was toxic!

I heard terror filled deafening screams of multitudes…and I was horrified stated Bill. I had the the understanding people on earth did not realize that there was this whole other world going on down here in hell and the fact that it existed! For some reason my senses were keener.

Ok…that was just a little of the first part I have so much to share about this I am sorry but I can not fit this into one blog! I will go into part 2 of this tomorrow…if you want to pray one thing that is so important it would be on this subject! Pray that your loved ones, your friends, even your enemies, even yourself not go to this dreadful place of torment. Be Blessed!

Christ living in and through you! Nothing can match the Power of God NOTHING!

I smoke for several years 12 or more years. Then about almost two years into being saved I was going to this church in KY. They were a non-denominational church and they always stood up before church in the front and gathered around in a circle to pray openly meaning verbally. So to me I was really having a hard time focusing during prayer because I was not use to that and when you are hearing about 40 people praying it almost reminded me of that movie Bruce Almighty where he could start to hear people praying.

I remember I just spoke out and really to this day I am not for sure why I did? But I said “I want to quit smoking!” Then at that moment EVERYONE came around me. They put their hands on me and prayed. Some were speaking in tongues and I had no clue what they were saying. I even started making fun of them in my mind well because I was just saved in 1999 and I was just a baby in Christ. I had no idea about much of anything other that I knew I was a sinner…..

After they prayed I left the church and like always lit a cigg on the way home…God NEVER convicted me of it NOT ONE TIME! I went home that night and didn’t think much more of it……

The next morning I woke up and started my day and it was like any ordinary day…I went to work, ran some errands, ate lunch, clean the house…you know normal stuff.

Then about 3 pm it was as if I had been blind-folded! I was standing inside my living room and all the sudden I freaked out! I thought “Oh my gosh!” “I have not smoked today!” ‘Huh?” I was stunned!

I sat there in shock! It was like cigarettes were never invented! I would always smoke outside never inside so it was the normal thing for me to have a cup of coffee and smoke first thing in the morning and after I eat.

But nothing not one time and then I knew I was delivered! The desire, the want, the crave, everything GONE!

Then I was like “God please forgive me for making fun of you…I …..I was at a loss for words. But you see God KNEW what I was thinking and He KNEW that would get my attention! And it DID!

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK HE IS SOME IMAGINARY FIGURE OUT THERE WHO IS SO FAR AWAY AND OUT OF REACH YOUR WRONG! WHAT HE HAS DONE IN MY LIFE HE WILL DO IN YOURS!

According to these words of Jesus, the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy everything good in your life. He wants to destroy your job, your joy, your happiness, your health, your finances, your marriage, and your kids.The thief just wants to ruin anything he can get his hands on!

The devil is very cunning in the way he steals from people. He knows that if he does it outright, his actions will be recognized; therefore, he steals from people in such a deceptive way that he often accomplishes his evil goal before they even know he has stolen from them!

If the thief hasn’t already walked away with everything we hold precious and dear, he will then try to convince us that we need to sacrifice or give up everything he hasn’t already taken from us.

The thief cannot bear the fact that you possess any kind of blessing. Therefore, if he is unsuccessful at stealing the good things from your life, he will try to cunningly convince you to give up everything you possess and love — simply because he doesn’t want you to have it. He may even try to create stressful situations that cause you to conclude that your only solution is to sacrifice the things you dearly love.

We discover that if the thief is unsuccessful in his attempts to steal from you or convince you to sacrifice what you hold dear, he will then try to ruin it!

“The thief wants to get his hands into every good thing in your life. In fact, Satan is looking for any opportunity to wiggle his way so deeply into your personal affairs that he can walk off with everything you hold precious and dear. And that’s not all – when he’s finished stealing all your goods and possessions, he’ll take his plan to rob you blind to the next level. He’ll create conditions and situations so horrible that you’ll see no way to solve the problem except to sacrifice everything that remains from his previous attacks. The goal of this thief is to totally waste and devastate your life. If nothing stops him, he’ll leave you insolvent, flat broke, and cleaned out in every area of your life. You’ll end up feeling as if you are finished and out of business! Make no mistake – the enemy’s ultimate aim is to obliterate you.”

But in the bible Jesus says: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Jesus offers us a life that is filled with vitality. Jesus offers us a life of abundance.
What a comparison! The devil comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy, but Jesus comes to give life as we have never known it!

In your walk with the Lord, you will experience times when the devil pushes buttons in your emotions to keep you all bound up and depressed. Other times the enemy will disguise his voice to make you think God is talking to you in order to get you off track or cause you to cast off your deepest dreams as pure imagination.

But whenever these attacks occur, just tell the devil to shut up and stop dropping those dimwitted thoughts of nonsense into your head. Tell him to hit the road! Let him know you’re not going to bite that bait any longer, so he might as well go fishing somewhere else. You’re not a sucker anymore! You know how he works now, and you’ve determined that he isn’t going to steal, kill, or destroy one more good thing in your life!

There’s no doubt about it!

• The devil wants you to be defeated.
• The devil wants you to struggle through your entire life.
• The devil wants you to be sick, depressed, down in the dumps, glum, and miserable.
• The devil wants you to feel like you will never hit the target with your life.
• But Jesus wants to give you a life that is unrivaled, unequaled, matchless, incomparable, richly loaded, and overflowing with life to the ultimate maximum!

So now that you know the devil wants to make your life a less-than-gratifying, unhappy, uneventful life — a life that no one will even notice is gone once it’s over — what are you going to do about it?

He then talks about Ted Turner, while in college, a friend of his died of cancer, though he was praying and believing for a healing, it didn’t come and then turned away from God. And now you can see the fruit of his bitterness of what he thinks of God.

That’s what why Larry was referring to disillusionment. My opinion is that too many people look at God as their genie, give me my wished and then I’ll be happy. As this book will go into further detail, what we believe God is and who he is, is even different for many Christians.

Next section begins with “Wju we’re alive at all”

Larry says that’s his problem with God. To people whose souls have been inundated with pain, God seems so unresponsive. We pray and nothing happens.

“What does it mean to hope in God as we continue to live in a world where good dreams shatter and God seems to do nothing about it?

I thought very good question. Guess where the answer lies? If you said, the Bible, you are correct!

Larry says it demands how we naturally look at lif. It demands an understanding why we’re alive at all, why God keeps us living in ths world for so long before we go to heaven.

Could it be that we have a wrong understanding of what life is meant to provide? We want godly kids, mates, help others, close friends, to enjoy God’s peace. Then comes “biblical” strategies for seeing that our dreams come true. They’re called “Godly parenting” and “discipline of spiritual living, principles of financial stewardship” all designed to give us a legitimately good time. He asks..”What’s wrong with that?”

We long to experience a compelling pleasure that eliminates all pain.

As Christians, “we give up immediate pleasures in order to later experience a deeper kind of pleasure, but we expect to feel that pleasure soon, certainly before we die. We insist on the internal good time of peace, of self-respect, of feeling at least pretty good if not full alive.”

I know as I look back at some of my rougher moments and life and realized the peace I had wasn’t true peace but it was more faith peace. What I mean is the peace I was getting was that this wast momentary, a test of my faith, darkest before dawn, blessings right around the corner.

I definitely didn’t have the peace that Paul talks about, whether good or bad times, I remain the same.

The problem is when dawn doesn’t come, you go through one trial to the next one and the last trial never gets fixed in the way you think it should be corrected. This usually leads to one thing, complete apathy, some form of depression because we are putting our joy in circumstances and not in our relationship with Him. I know a few times in life I just pretty much went through the motions of life b/c of my wrong thinking.

So now my prayer is.. God this doesn’t matter, just do a work in me, draw me closer to you because I can NOT do this in my own strength, You have to do it in me.
