Haiti Relief and Donations
I wanted to let everyone know that our brother Pat is doing relief work in Haiti so if you would like to help out, I can guarantee you that 100% of your donation will be used for supplies and food. Here is a letter from Pat…
International Crisis Aid is responding to the crisis in Haiti. Will you help us?
Hundreds of thousands are expected to be dead and many more injured and displaced.
ICA is working to set up one or more refugee camps in Carrefour, Haiti, at the epicenter of the earthquake. We are working through a local church relationship.
NEEDS:
Right now, our biggest need is funding. As we do in all of our crisis relief, we plan to buy everything in country (if possible). Because of the situation, the infrastructure is shattered. The cost of shipping donated goods ends up costing more than just purchasing goods in country in most situations. It is logistically much better as well as we are able to bypass shipping large containers and customs.
Therefore, we are asking churches, schools, businesses and communities to consider taking up a monetary collection toward our efforts.
Please consider making a gift today. Your gift will be designated for Haiti and will be 100% tax deductible.
Sincerely,
Pat Bradley

Great posting. We need to support these charities. They need our support. Haiti is in a desperate need for donations. Even giving your time to help with the relief would be appreciated. Thanks for showing support.
