Put an End to Trafficking of Women – Insight on Human Trafficking
Trafficking is a crime against humanity. Getting someone by any means and putting them to forced labor or service, slavery, prostitution, manufacturing or other industries, even domestic service is the global right’s definition of trafficking.
The most common target are the women. A grave issue on human rights and development is Trafficking of women.
The issue on women trafficking is rampant such that an estimated 800,000 women and children are being trafficked worldwide, each year. It is so alarming that the US Department of Health and Human Services have put human trafficking on the top list that tied with illegal arms industry as the number one crime to watch out for.
Unfortunately, the bad news about human trafficking, especially those of women and children, do not end there. Sexual exploitation is one problem attached to human trafficking, approximated at 75%. And what is worse is that the number of women and children who become victims of sexual exploitation have exceeded the initial projection of 2.5 million.
But the sad reality is that there is no actual data on the exact number of victims because of the nature of the industry. Some facts on how recruitment happens.
Doubtful Promises
A much better life or work situation is the common promise “recuiters” give parents or parents give their children. The cost of women and children sold across the border is as little as one to two thousand dollars only.
Direct selling
Family members or victims’ own parents sell their children directly, just like selling a product.
Bondage
Young girls are arranged for marriage to pay off debts of certain families, forcing them to become sexual slaves or subjecting them to other forms of unjust labor.
Kidnapping
Another root problem on its own, trafficked women and children are sometimes kidnapped and taken forcibly then forced to work or sold to brothels.
Trafficking of women and children has become such a rampant crime. Both global and local community are doing their best to fight the crime. Several strategies have been employed by both government agencies and non-government groups.
Here are a few of them.
- Increased awareness programs regarding trafficking of women and children.
- The use of each country’s legal system to control or ttally eradicate prostitution.
- Providing alternative options of employment for women and children.
- Rescuing victims and putting them in rehabilitation programs.
- For centuries now, trafficking of women has been a ruthless crime.
Taking it sitting down and not taking action will surely perpetuate the growth of this barbaric industry, victimizing more and more women and children al over the world. Starting somewhere is the first step towards erasing it completely.

your page has soooo many things wrong with it.
your points.
1. jesus is the way to god, by doing his teachings. if youre not doing his teachings and you’re only accepting his crucifixion as means of being saved 9 times out of 10 your a sinner, and you’re not actually saved. you can THINK youre saved through his crucifixion. but if you dont do his teachings (ie. not lust, not worship material things, not judge, dont forgive, arent merciful, dont resist evil, and the list goes on..) then youre not saved. read matthew 721-7:27
4. jesus was righteous, believing in him doesnt make you righteous too. you can believe in jesus and that youre saved through him and you can still go out and buy the most luxurious riches and live a life of selfishness and give verrrrrry little to the poor. you have to be righteous yourself to actually be righteous. that means not being selfish, working your hardest to help others and commit yourself to helping those less fortunate than yourself.
5. you can believe jesus’ blood was shed for your sins to be forgiven. you can think your saved from your sins through jesus crucifixion. and you can also think to yourself youll be a sinner forever and jesus crucfixion is the only means to being saved. but jesus taught how not to be a sinner. by DOING what jesus taught you can no longer be a sinner. other wise, jesus wouldnt have said. – matthew 5:38-5:48
you also say everyone will always be a sinner, and that jesus is the one and only son of god. jesus says other wise – matthew 5:45 and matthew 5:48
if jesus says you can be perfect like god, and gods not a sinner because hes perfect, then that means you can be perfect like god. jesus said it
he also says that ye may be the children of your father in heaven (by doing his teachings) then obviously that means jesus gave the way through his teachings how to be not only perfect, but also the child of the father in heaven.
in conclusion. i hope my little comment will help you with your misunderstandings on your faith.
i really dont mean to hurt anyone by my post. just help them. it hurts me seeing so many christians be led astray by bad guidance
the best way to be saved by jesus. is to read the new testament. analyze his teachings and where you arent doing them. and change your life through his teachings. if you lust at women. stop lusting. if you fornicate. stop fornicating. if your guilty for materialism. sell your richs and take care of your needs give the rest to the poor. if youre not peaceful. start being peaceful. “the peacemakers will be called the children of god.” if you dont turn the other cheek when struck by an enemy, start turning the other cheeck.
the list goes on. read the new testament, evaluate yourself as a sinner based on what he taught. change yourself accordingly
