What is the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT THING WE CAN DO FOR OUR PRESIDENT?

Today History is being made as our nation receives our first African American President. This is something to really be thankful about. However I wish he was a conservative but that is just my own personal desire. Regardless wether you agree with his policys or not, he is our new president. I myself am a conservative and did not vote for Obama. My personal and spiritual views are far different then his.
After Obama got elected I was highly upset but as I started reading in the Word of God something pierced my heart. In the New Testement the Bible states that we are to be respectful of the ones in authority. It does not matter if we agree with them or not. We need to be obedient to Gods Word. I got convicted of my personal thoughts of Obama and what this country could look like after he has been in office for four years but then the Lord spoke to my heart and said:
“Pray For Your President! Pray for Your Nation! Pray for ALL!”
That really struck me hard as I had to repent from all the horrible thoughts racing through my mind. This really was a direct command to be not only obedient to God but to do the right thing as a Child of God!
Let’s face it no matter where we stand politically we really need to PRAY WITHOUT CEASING! Why? Because Prayer Changes things! We need to stop this arguing back and forth and start putting the Word into action!
