talking about the devil: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tim Chey’s movie ‘Suing The Devil’. It is a Christian film and it is a very important film because the sad reality is over 30% of American Christians do not even believe that Satan is real.

I have 5 words to add here, “Get Thee Behind Me Satan”. I repeat this when things happen. It helps. Though he tries to rob me of happiness, I just open the bible and all my troubles are gone. Jesus Uplifts me in many ways and has blessed me so many times… I will always trust in the lord. He is an Amazing God. I love you Jesus….

Thank you so much for this article. I could not put it into words. Yesterday I thought on John 10:10 and I was thinking about how things have gone in my life over the PAST years. The enemy came to attack me personally. God had given me some precious promises and I just was not in the right place in Him to receive them. So everything the Lord had promised me was stolen or taken from me. I’ve gone through church hurt, family hurt, being rejected and other stuff and when I looked back I said “the enemy was trying to kill me” but I held on to God. The attacks that came upon me were overwhelming. I could share so much more but I will be brief.
I just want to let you know that even though this is an old article it is ever FRESH RHEMA for me today. I needed to read this and I am encouraged and will continue to fight the good fight of faith. Pray for me and may God bless you.

So does that mean that the devil has come to destroy our lives and our way of dealing with that is to “endure it to the end” or essentially accept that life is full of dissapointments and pain and be thankful and praise god for the promise of a life after death.

So the whole point is that if we cop this shitty life with a smile on our faces and thank God then he will reward us with this amazing world with streets paved with gold etc in the afterlife.

Frankly I would quite happily swap the streets of gold for some understanding, peace, fun and joy who wants streets of gold anyway.

What’s the point anyway, sounds like shit to me and don’t worry I’ve been to church, read the bible, prayed. I was even a youth paster in the midst of my life being systematically dismantled one of the many times that has occured. And yes I know there are those worse off than me as if that’s an excuse for as to continue to pretend we are happy when the reality is we are just as dilusioned as the drug addicts, the only difference is the source of the dislussionment.
