Prophecy From Jesus to Mary Baxter on Joel's
Army to Come
while back ago, I had read one of the most
mind-blowing Christian books I have ever read. This book
deserves major special attention. I know it may not be for
everyone, but I feel I should pass this information on to
the rest of you if you have not read or heard about this
book. This book has a major prophecy in it about Joel's
army that is to come.
The name of the book is a
"Divine Revelation of Hell" by Mary K.
Baxter. At the time that I am typing up this article, it
has been consistently listed as one of the top 10 best
sellers on the charismatic Christian book list over the last
two years.
I personally believe this woman's testimony is true and is
from the Lord. She said Jesus personally took her down into
hell over a 40-day period to show her what it was really like.
The reason He did this was so that she could write this book to
tell everyone about the reality of hell, that a hell does
exist, and that it is a horrible place of torment just like the
Bible describes!
Jesus told her that He does not want anyone going down
there, but that people have free will and that He cannot force
people to accept His gift of eternal salvation if they really
don’t want to accept it.
This book is very graphic! She describes in very good,
graphic detail what hell looks like and everything she saw
occurring down there. I will not go into all of the specifics
as to what she saw in this article. It would be too long.
Basically, Jesus told her that hell is in the center of our
earth and that it is in the shape of a human body. There are
different "arms" and "legs" in hell along with different levels
of torment.
What she saw down there and recorded is absolutely
mind-blowing! It will tear your heart into a million pieces!
She literally gets to talk to some of the people that are down
there and they tell her why they are down there. Jesus also
tells her why some of these people are down there and what they
did in their earthly lives that got them cast into hell for all
of eternity.
This book is a wake up call for all Christians! Hell is
real! Death is real! When we die, we are either going into
heaven or into hell. Nobody likes to think of the reality of
hell, much less wonder what it may really be like down
there.
However, for those of you who have the stomach
to dare read this book, you will come away with one major
revelation - and that revelation is that we are all
involved in a real game of "life and death."
How we live this life and the choices we end up
making will determine where we will all spend the rest of
our eternal lives. The fact that there really is a hell and
that a certain amount of people are going to end up going
down there will give you a major desire to want to try and
save as many people as you possibly can from going to this
horrible place.
When reading this book, I noticed a lot of what is being
said lines up with everything I have learned about end time
events.
I feel the reason Jesus may have done all of this with her
is that He is starting to pull out all of the stops. He is
going to extreme lengths to keep people out of this place -
literally to the extent of taking someone down there, showing
her what it is really like, and then having her write about it
so people are made fully aware of the reality of it and the
seriousness of living a good and godly life here on earth.
Some of the people down there were Christians who had lost
their salvation! Some of these people literally turned against
God for various reasons. God did everything He could to get
them back, but these people still refused to accept His
forgiveness and mercy. Talk about stubbornness and major
stupidity! If this woman's testimony is really true - then her
testimony shows us that it is possible for Christians to lose
their salvation.
Jesus also had quite a bit to say about end time
events in this book. He specifically talks about Joel’s
army and that He will be raising up a powerful army in
these latter days to walk with His power.
I’m going to go ahead and give you the exact words that
Jesus spoke to her about this coming end time army since it
perfectly lines up with what I feel I have been picking up
personally for the last 14 years.
After doing my own study on end time events, my
conclusion is that Jesus will raise up and release this
army sometime before the Antichrist rises to power. This
army will be His last ditch effort to get as many people
saved as He possibly can before the Antichrist rises to
full power and we then enter into the 7 year
Tribulation.
After this army completes its mission, the main body
of believers will then be raptured - which will then clear
the way for the Antichrist, the False Prophet and their
10-nation confederacy to come onto the world scene.
Before I state the specific prophecy given by Jesus to this
woman, I want to let you know the following:
- Everything Jesus says to her in this book all perfectly
lines up with Scripture. I did not spot one word coming
from Him that went against His Word.
- The pastor of her church writes a forward at the
beginning of the book endorsing it and stating that he
believes her testimony to be true.
Everything that Jesus says about end time events in this
book perfectly lines up with the way Scripture describes how
everything will play out.
If this woman’s story is true and is from the Lord, then you
will have literally been taken to the pit of hell to get a real
tour of what is really going on down there and how evil and
horrible of a place it really is. If the Holy Spirit bears
witness with you should you attempt to read it, you will never
forget some of the images and things you will see, as she very
graphically describes what she saw down there.
For those who want to really know what may be on the other
side and have a heart for the lost and unsaved - I would
strongly recommend that you make an attempt to read this
book.
Even though the images and pictures of what hell
is really like may haunt you for a while - it will do one
positive thing for you. It will verify and confirm for you
the reality of the "God-game" that we have all been called
into. This game is real! This game is a matter of real life
and real death! The stakes are the eternal fate of each
person’s soul when they die and cross over and face God for
their own personal judgment on their lives.
When you read what hell is really like and see
the extreme suffering and torment these people will have to
go through for the rest of their eternal lives - it will
create a intense desire in you to want to try and do
everything you possibly can to save people from this
horrible final fate. It will make the game of this life
that much more real for you!
It will show you that getting people saved in
this life is absolutely the greatest thing that you can
possibly do - especially when you see where they would have
ended up had they not accepted Jesus as their personal Lord
and Savior.
It makes everything else in this life seem trivial compared
to what the real stakes are in this life. Many people are not
really aware of the eternal stakes of their lives - that how
they live this life and whether or not they accept Jesus as
their personal Savior will determine their eternal fates.
It is a game of "maximum life and maximum death."
Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior through His death
on the cross, stay out of serious sin after receiving your
salvation, and you will then enter "maximum life" into a
place called heaven.
But if you choose to reject what Jesus did for you on the
cross and refuse to accept His free gift of eternal salvation,
then you will end up in a place called hell - which is a place
of pure evil that is beyond your wildest imagination! Not even
Hollywood could conjure up the scenes that this woman saw.
For those of you who want maximum intensity and would
like to further your God-education into what is really
on the other side - take a crack at this book. For those of you
who are open to allowing God to use you to witness to others to
try and get them saved through the power of the Holy Spirit
operating through you, this book will light a fire in you that
will change your whole outlook on what we are all really into
with our Lord.
It will really show you the seriousness and importance of
wanting to work for God to try and get other people saved. If
you only get one person saved in your whole life, this book
will show you what you have just saved that person from, and
what an incredible thing it really is to be used by God to save
another person from this unbelievably horrible place.
Now here are the specific words that Jesus spoke to this
woman about the end time army that He intends on raising up. In
my opinion, this Joel's army could possibly be coming out of
this generation.
The words coming from Jesus about this end time army that He
will be raising up come from the book of Joel in the Old
Testament. It is Joel 2:1-11.
Prophecy From Jesus on Joel’s Army To
Come
"Behold, I am preparing a holy army. They will do
mighty exploits for Me and destroy your high places. They
are an army of holy men and women, boys and girls. They
have been anointed to preach the true gospel, to lay hands
on the sick and to call the sinner to repentance.
This is an army of working men, housewives, single men,
single women and school children. They are common people,
for not many noble have responded to My call. In the past
they have been misunderstood and mistreated, abused and
rejected. But I have blessed them with boldness in holiness
and in spirit. They will begin to fulfill My prophecy and
to do My will. I will walk in them, talk in them and work
in them.
These are they who have turned to Me with all their
heart, soul, mind and strength. This army will awaken many
to righteousness and purity of spirit. I will soon begin to
move upon them, to choose for My army those I desire. I
will search for them in the cities and in the towns. Many
will be surprised at those I have chosen. You will see them
begin to move across the land and do exploits for My name’s
sake. Watch and see My power at work.
This army, which was spoken of by the prophet
Joel, will arise from the land and do great works for
God.
The Son of righteousness shall arise with healing in His
wings. He shall tread down the wicked, and they shall be
ashes under the soles of His feet.
They shall be called the army of the Lord. I will
give gifts unto them, and they will accomplish mighty
works. They shall do exploits for the Lord of glory. I will
pour out My Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and
daughters shall prophesy.
This army shall fight against the forces of evil and
destroy much of Satan’s work. They shall win many to Jesus
Christ before the day of the evil beast arises."
(Then further on into the book, Jesus once more restates
all of the above after talking about the Antichrist)
"The beast will call himself a man of peace. And he will
bring peace to many nations out of a very chaotic time. He
will be able to supply the world with many inexpensive
goods, and he will assure that everyone’s pay is
sufficient. He will make an alliance with many nations, and
the great men of the world will follow him into a false
sense of security.
Before these times I will raise up an army of
believers that will stand for truth and righteousness. The
mighty army that Joel spoke about will hear My voice from
the rising to the going down of the sun.
In the night hours also they will hear My voice, and
they will answer Me. They will work for Me, and they will
run like mighty men of war. They shall do great works for
Me, for I will be with them."
(Then a little further into the book, He once more
comments that this army will come before the rise of the
Antichrist and 7 year Tribulation)
"But before that evil day, I will raise up a mighty army
that will worship Me in Spirit and in truth. The army of
the Lord will do great exploits and wonderful things for
Me. Therefore, come together and worship Me in Spirit and
in truth. Bring in the fruits of righteousness, and give Me
what is rightfully mine, and I will keep you from the evil
hour. Repent now and be saved from the terrible things
which will befall the rebellious and the unsaved.
The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life. Call on Me while you may, and I will accept
you and forgive you. I love you and do not desire that you
should be lost.
Believe this report and live. Choose you this day whom
you will serve."
The Scripture Verse
In order to compare the above Word from Jesus to the
prophecy of Joel, I’m going to give you the Scripture verse so
you can see how Jesus' comments perfectly lines up with the
words that are in this verse. It is subtitled the "Day of
the Lord."
"Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy
mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for
the day of the Lord is coming, for is at hand: a day of
darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick
darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the
mountains.
A people come, great and strong, the like of
whom has never been; nor will there ever be any such after
them, even for many successive generations.
A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame
burns; the land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and
behind them a desolate wilderness; surely nothing shall
escape them. Their appearance is like the appearance of
horses; and like swift steeds, so they run. With a noise
like chariots over the mountaintops they leap, like the
noise of a flaming fire that devours the stubble,
like a strong people set in battle
array.
Before them the people writhe in pain; all faces are
drained of color. They run like mighty men, they climb the
wall like men of war; everyone marches in formation, and
they do not break ranks. They do not push one another,
every one marches in his own column.
And when they lunge between the weapons, they are not
cut down. They run to and fro in the city, they run on the
wall; they climb into the houses, they enter at the windows
like a thief.
The earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble; the
sun and moon grow dark, and the stars diminish their
brightness. The Lord gives voice
before His army, for His camp is very great; for
strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the
Lord is great and very terrible; who can endure it?" (Joel
2:1-11)
Whether or not any of us will be a part of this army, or
whether or not the coming of this army will occur in our
lifetime remains to be seen. If all of this does occur in our
lifetime, and if any of us will be called to be a part of this
army, God will personally let each one of us know when the time
is right.
Conclusion
1. If any of you get officially called to be in
this army, this book by Mary Baxter will create an intense
desire in you to want to get other people saved. It will light
a fire in you that I don’t think will ever extinguish. Hell is
very real - and when you find out what it is really like and
what really goes on down there, you won’t want anyone to ever
be cast down there!
In this book, Jesus says that once a person physically dies,
it is already too late! You have to get saved before you die!
Scripture also confirms this.
There are quite a few accounts of people putting off
receiving Jesus as their Savior. They wanted to continue to
live in their sin-filled lives, thinking they had the rest of
their earthly lives to accept Jesus. Then all of a sudden it
happens, they are killed in a car accident or they die from
some type of natural cause - all before they had a chance to
make it right with Jesus before they died.
Before they would die, Jesus says He would
constantly chase after them - sending His servants to
witness to them to try and get them to turn from their
sinful ways and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
Finally, Jesus says that His Spirit would quit striving
with them after a certain amount of time and that "judgment
had then been set."
Talk about a bone-chilling scenario! That these
people kept refusing God’s free gift of eternal salvation
time and time again - and finally God saying "that’s it -
judgment has been set - you have been given every
opportunity to come in and accept My Son’s death on the
cross for all of your sins. You are now lost
forever."
2. The most horrible thing about reading this
woman’s description of hell is the finality of
it - the fact that once judgment has been set by God and He has
quit striving after you to try and get you saved - that you
will spend the rest of your eternal life in this horrible
place!
The natural mind has a hard time really coming to grips with
such a horrible final fate. But Scripture also tells us that
this fate is final and once judgment has been set by God the
Father - it is forever!
There was no mention of any type of purgatory down there.
However, Mary Baxter did say that she was shown some things
that God will not allow her to release at this time.
According to the Book of Revelation, all the unsaved go to
hell at this time. After the 1000 year millennium kingdom has
passed, all of the unsaved are then pulled up out of hell to
enter into the Great White Throne Judgment before God. They are
then all judged by their works, and all of those whose names
are not written in the Book of Life are then cast into the Lake
of Fire and Brimstone for all of eternity.
Jesus says numerous times in this book that the hell that
Mary Baxter is being shown will eventually be thrown into the
Lake of Fire and Brimstone after the above judgment occurs.
3. Jesus uses the term weeping and gnashing of
teeth when describing the torments of hell in the New
Testament. After you read this book, you will see why these
words are meant to be taken literally!
Jesus says that He, and only He, is the "way" and the
"door" that leads to God the Father and heaven, and that
no one enters into heaven unless they come through Him and His
sacrificial death on the cross.
The stories you will read from the people that are actually
in hell all confirm this fact and the statements made by Jesus
in the New Testament. God is not kidding when He says that
there is no other name under heaven by which man can receive
eternal salvation!
The feeling that you get when listening to these
people’s stories is that they took their earthly lives too
much for granted. They thought they had all of the time in
the world to accept God’s free gift of eternal salvation.
They were just too busy with their own agendas and the way
they wanted to live their own lives. They had no time for
God or His message of eternal salvation.
The touching part about this whole story is the way God and
Jesus would continue to pursue these people time and time again
in order to try and get them saved before they died.
Numerous times, Jesus would be crying right along with Mary
Baxter when He was passing these people in hell and actually
having conversations with them. He would say over and over
again that His gift of eternal salvation is free, and that
there is no sin that is too vile that He can not forgive under
the Blood that He has personally shed for all of us on the
cross.
However, most of these people were too stubborn and too set
in their ways. They would not budge, give in, or accept what
Jesus had been trying to offer to them throughout most of their
lives. How many of us know people like that!
Eventually, these people’s stubbornness and rebellion may
cost them their eternal lives like it already has for the
people now living in hell. Jesus says several times in this
book that each person needs to "choose this day whom they
will serve."
He says that if people don’t choose Him, they are choosing
Satan, and they will end up in hell when they die and cross
over. Jesus says in the New Testament that those who are not
with Him are against Him. This is an all-or-nothing statement
being made by Jesus! There are no middle or neutral grounds -
and you only have this one earthly lifetime in which to make
this one and final fateful decision.
The problem is - no one knows when they are
going to die! No one is guaranteed anything in this life.
You could literally die tomorrow. Each person has to make
this personal decision with God while they are still
living. You can’t make it after you have already died. Some
of these people thought they could. They gambled with their
eternal fates and now they are lost forever!
4. I’ll leave you with one last thought about
this book. After reading what I felt was a true account of hell
and what it is really like down there, I came away with the
sobering realization of what is really most important in this
life.
We are all going to eventually die. True saved and
born-again Christians are going straight to heaven when they
die. However, there is a mass of humanity out there that are
just not going to make it. They are on their way to hell - but
they just don’t know it yet!
However, God doesn’t want any of these people going down
there and He will do everything He possibly can to try and
reach these people before they die.
If God should ever want to use any of you to witness to
someone who is not saved to try and get them pulled in before
they die, don’t turn Him down! The Holy Spirit will lead you on
this and arrange for this type of experience to occur.
He will set the stage for you, give you the flows in which
to speak the right words to that person, and move in with His
power on that person to try and convince him to accept God’s
free gift of eternal salvation through Jesus.
All you have to do is be willing to be used by God to speak
the right words to this person when the time is right. If God
should ever lead any of you to do this - realize what an honor
it is to be asked by Him to try and save someone else’s soul
from this horrible place of torment that human words cannot
even begin to describe.
Realize that there is nothing greater in God that you can
accomplish while down here on this earth than to get someone
else saved from the fires of a real live living hell! The Bible
says that those who "win souls" for Jesus will receive
special "crowns" for this type of service once they
enter into heaven. It will really be worth your while to
venture out of your comfort zone from time to time to attempt
to get someone saved should God ever lead you to do so.
However, your greatest reward for this type of rescue and
deliverance mission will be the knowing that you will have that
you were the instrument and vessel in which God used to save
someone from the most horrible place imaginable! This knowing
and gratification that you will have from getting someone saved
will last with you for all of eternity! There may end up being
no greater high than the feeling that you will carry with you
for all of eternity knowing that through you, God was able to
save a soul from this kind of maximum death.
5. Each of you will have to use your own
discernment and get your own witness from the Holy Spirit as to
whether or not you think her testimony is really true if you
decide you want to try and read this book. As for myself, I
will go on record as stating that I feel her story is true and
is definitely from the Lord.
Just one last warning. Should any of you decide to try and
read this book, make sure you do it when there is not a lot of
distraction around. Wait to the kids are in bed. Use your
imagination to visualize what she is describing as she is going
through hell to get the full effect of it. This book is not
pleasant to read. In fact, it will probably be one of the most
unpleasant books you will ever read in this lifetime - and that
may be putting it mildly.
However, if her story is true, you are all
getting a powerful glimpse into the reality of hell and
what it is really like down there. It may just forever
change the way that you look at this life and give you the
sobering realization of what is most important in this life
- and that we are all involved in a real game of life and
death that will eventually determine the ultimate fate of
our souls.
I’m afraid that most people take this life too
much for granted and really do not realize what is going on
behind the scenes in the war between God and the devil for
all of our souls. This book will enlighten you in a way
that few books really can.
