PS I forgot to ask ...

If as you say, the wicked are cast alive
into the lake of fire, to suffer eternally,
are you saying that the wicked have eternal
life as well as the saved?

I thank all for allowing me to correct my error.
We learn as we go.
By the way, I am not affiliated with any church.
Here where I live we have only sunday worship
and I do not believe in that. It breaks the 4th Law.
I keep the sabbath, and do not work or use public
transport, go shopping, and so on.
May I say again as there is much misunderstanding,
and then I will leave yous be:
I do not hold with a millenium reign on earth.
We today await our Lord's coming in the air to
gather His elect and take us to heaven's mansions.
At the brightness of His coming (in the air and
not on earth) the world will suffer the catastrophe
of destruction. We will actually escape a world war.
Before this coming, Satan will recognise the end
times and will pretend to be Christ come. He controls
a third of the angels and all will pretend to support
him as the heavenly host. However, as these all are
earthbound, (cast out of heaven) they cannot be seen
to come in the air. Satan's big hoax, appearing to be
Christ. For the second coming of Christ is called His
appearing. Not His arrival! Appearing in the air.
Just as He promised when He left this earth; He rose up
or ascended into heaven.
We will rise up to meet Him in the air and be taken to
heaven, to inherit those promised mansion, and to also
help in the work of judgment of the wicked.
Satan is for that length of time in this bottomless
pit (ruined earth) for the thousand years in punishment,
and to comtemplate his fate.
However, afterwards, God will come with His saints (angels)
to earth for the judgment. For the wicked will never see
heaven. But, when all the wicked are raised, it
will be Satan who is loosed from his prison of isolation,
who will attempt to control these billions of people into
a vast army, ready to attack the camp.
At that moment, God will send fire upon them and devour all.
When someone or something is devoured, it means gone forever.
I do not believe, nor does the Bible say that anyone is to
suffer, and suffer, and suffer for ever.
This surely means they can never again be raised to life,
never, never, never. Though I think we will remember that
lesson and not wish to ever repeat it.
Then we go on to Rev 21 and the new heaven and new earth
to be inherited after our earth is passed away.
Some say another earth, some say our own earth made new.
Then the city of God, New Jerusalem will come down and Jesus
our God and Saviour will dwell with us for ever. Amen

I cannot imagine wanting to imagine anyone suffering forever
while I enjoy a wondrous eternity with God. No, God does
not mean eternal torment. Spiritually, this only means
eternal loss. Loss of all that we will find. Happiness,
joy, peace, life, love ...

I love the Lord. The watcher man tried to say I only talk
about the Law. I must say that without obedience to the
Law, we cannot claim to be Christians. Sin is the breaking
of the Law.
Sunday worship is breaking the Law, for God gave us the
seventh day as His sabbath of rest. This does not mean we
have to become seventh-day adventists! We just have to
obey God's Word.
Many do not keep the sabbath, claiming it is just a Jewish
day. However, we become Israel and Abraham's seed when we
come to Christ. One is Christ, both Jew and Gentile.
God gave us this hope when we became the 'whosoever' of
John 3: 16, and shows that God loved no only Jews, but
thankfully, Gentiles too. We are one in Christ, a chosen
people.

Dear Watcher Man
Here was I thinking you had deleted all my witness but
yet it is here in this subject.
I want to announce that I was in error on a certain
subject, and that was the crucifixion times/days.
Now I find (seek and ye shall find) that Christ was
crucified on Wednesday the 14th of Nisan AD31.
Therefore He was in the tomb for three days and nights:
Thursday night,
Thursday daytime,
Friday night,
Friday daytime,
Saturday night,
Saturday daytime.
He rose from the dead after the sabbath of rest ended.

A day being from 6pm to 6am and 6am to 6pm.
The sacrificial lambs were chosen on the 10th.
Christ rode into Jerusalem at that time and the
people certainly chose Him on that day.
Then kept four days before being killed and eaten.
Jesus and His disciples ate the Passover with
unleavened bread (unleaven/taking away sin)
and wine, on Wednesday evening.
Then they went to Gethsemane where Judas betrayed
him with a kiss. The crowd with him sent from
the priests, and carried staves and swords.
Taken back to the priests, scribes, and elders,
Christ was questioned throughout the night but
opened not His mouth.
Sent on to Pontius Pilate, the crowd then decided
His fate, crying "Crucify Him". He was then
mocked and beaten by the Roman soldiers, and taken
to Golgotha where He was crucified about 9am.
He died about 3pm as the lambs were being killed.
Buried quickly before the Thursday sabbath drew on,
before the Thursday arrived at 6pm.
That Thursday sabbath being a High Day or annual sabbath.
These sabbaths fell on different days each year
yet called sabbaths, of the Ordinance Laws(no longer applicable
to us).
Thursday was the first day of the seven day Feast of Unleavened
Bread, until the 21st another annual sabbath day.
So Wednesday was the Preparation Day making ready for the Feast.
Thursday the Feast and sabbath/rest day.
Friday an ordinary day within the Feast.
Saturday the weekly sabbath of rest.

So we can see that the 'Christian' easter is wrong.

Hey, thank you Watcher. Perhaps I have the chronology wrong. That would do it.

I am not familiar with the 7th Day Adventist view, but from what you describe I do not adhere to their belief. I'll try to summarize the chronology as I understand it.

* The rapture of the church occurs prior to the end of Daniel's 70th week. The believers go to heaven and are with the Lord. Since Jesus promised they would be with Him for eternity, I would think wherever Jesus goes the resurrected church would go with Him.

* Rev 20:1-3 Satan thrown into the abyss.

* Daniel's 70th week is finished which includes God's wrath. The bowl judgements are part of these and the earth is destroyed as we know it. Mountains collapse, islands sink, fire rains down, etc.

* Jesus returns to earth and rules for 1000 years. I don't believe scripture says when He returns during the 1000 year period. It must be after God's wrath is over, yet before the 2nd resurrection.

* Jesus lives on earth in Jerusalem with His resurrected people. Isaiah 65:19-23 "Jerusalem will bring me joy, and my people will bring me happiness."

* Rev 20:5 The second resurrection of all those that were not resurrected at the beginning of the 1000 year period.

* Rev 20:7-8 Satan is released from the abyss. Satan is said he will be deceiving the nations and will gather the wicked for war.

* Rev 20:9 "They went up on the broad plain of the earth and encircled the camp of the saints and the beloved city...".

OK, some of my confusion must be about Jerusalem. Rev 20:9 speaks of Satan surrounding the beloved city where the saints reside. Isaiah 65:19-23 specifically says Jesus and the saints will be in Jerusalem.

As you point out, this cannot be the new Jerusalem as Rev 21 says there will be no more death. The Jerusalem described in Isaiah 65 mentions some people will die when they 100 years old.

Are there two Jerusalems? John 14 says believers have a destination when He returns to take us to heaven.

John 14:2-3 There are many dwelling places in my Father’s house. Otherwise, I would have told you, because I am going away to make ready a place for you. And if I go and make ready a place for you, I will come again and take you to be with me, so that where I am you may be too.

Zechariah 8:3 and Isaiah 65:19-23 both say Jesus will reside in Jerusalem on earth. Rev. 20:9 says Satan is surrounding the Holy City where the saints reside.

Will His people be taken to heaven to live in His father's house, but later leave that place (in heaven) when they return to earth with Jesus during the 1000 years? And then that Jerusalem will be replaced by a new Jerusalem after the end of the 1000 year period?

This sort of brings us back to my original question about where the believers reside on earth during the 1000 year period. Isaiah 65:19-23 says they are in Jerusalem, and Zechariah 8:21-22 says some are residing in nations around the world where they return to Jerusalem to seek the Lord. I can understand that. But when Satan is released, his army surrounds the Holy city and the saints. Is Jerusalem so large that all of God's people from all the nations are able to be within its walls as Satan's army surrounds it?

What do I have wrong?

Hello Bob, after reading your questions carefully, it appears that the confusion you have is derived from certain events of Revelations taken out of order. Please correct me if am wrong, but it appears you believe the same as the Seventh Day Adventists, who say all the saved people will be in Heaven for 1,000 yrs. while Christ reigns with them? From what I see in actual Revelations scripture, the Bible says after the 1,000 yrs have expired, Satan, who had been bound by Jesus in the bottomless pit, was now released from his prison to deceive the nations.....therefore during that 1,000 yr reign of Christ and His people are living upon the earth, not everyone in Heaven....................................Why else would Jesus say that nations that will not come to pay homage will receive no rain, and that they must celebrate the Feast Of Tabernacles? OR that in those days people will live to be an old age (fullness of their days)? This cannot apply to the new earth as death is gone, and this cannot apply to Heaven either as death does not exist in Heaven, therefore we must conclude the 1,000 yr reign will take place on EARTH with people on earth repopulating it....................................................
Another thing that needs addressed is there is NO NEW JERUSALEM coming to the earth at this point in time. This does not happen until AFTER the 1,000 yr period where the FINAL BATTLE of Gog & Magog takes place, and the devil is finally cast into the Lake of Fire with the Beast and False Prophet. Then comes the destruction of the Earth, REV 20:11 (the earth and heaven fled away), then the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT, where unbelievers are judged from the Second Resurrection of all the dead.....................................Now after all this, Revelations says since the first Earth and Heaven passed away, John saw a NEW EARTH and a NEW HEAVEN- REV 20:21. This is important----THIS is when the NEW JERUSALEM, the holy, glorious and beyond beautiful city made of precious metals and gemstones, with the river of life running from the Throne of God and Jesus, descends from Heaven to the newly created earth, which no longer has oceans. Now there is no more death, crying, or sorrow! Jesus proclaims "IT IS DONE!" and "I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW"- REV 21:4-6. Praise the Lord!!!

From what I see in actual Revelations scripture, the Bible says after the 1,000 yrs have expired, Satan, who had been bound by Jesus in the bottomless pit, was now released from his prison to deceive the nations…..therefore during that 1,000 yr reign of Christ and His people are living upon the earth, not everyone in Heaven………………………………Why else would Jesus say that nations that will not come to pay homage will receive no rain, and that they must celebrate the Feast Of Tabernacles? OR that in those days people will live to be an old age (fullness of their days)? This cannot apply to the new earth as death is gone, and this cannot apply to Heaven either as death does not exist in Heaven, therefore we must conclude the 1,000 yr reign will take place on EARTH with people on earth repopulating it…………………………………………….
Then comes the destruction of the Earth, REV 20:11 (the earth and heaven fled away), then the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT, where unbelievers are judged from the Second Resurrection of all the dead……………………………….Now after all this, Revelations says since the first Earth and Heaven passed away, John saw a NEW EARTH and a NEW HEAVEN- REV 20:21. This is important—-THIS is when the NEW JERUSALEM, the holy, glorious and beyond beautiful city made of precious metals and gemstones, with the river of life running from the Throne of God and Jesus, descends from Heaven to the newly created earth, which no longer has oceans. Now there is no more death, crying, or sorrow! Jesus proclaims “IT IS DONE!” and “I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW”- REV 21:4-6. Praise the Lord!!!

Dear Jacqueline: Thus Saith the LORD GOD Maker of Heave and Earth and Everything therein...

The Mark of the Beast is a "LITERAL" Mark a person will have the option of taking on their "RIGHT HAND or FOREHEAD" in order to "BUY or SELL" Anything when the Antichrist is in power, as it is written in Rev.13:16-18, which states:

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

Hi Bob,

I agree that is interesting/confusing. So far I have mainly focused my studies on events that occur before the Millennium, because I figure once it begins we'll have plenty of time to obtain the answers!
Hopefully you'll find some explanation, and please share it here if/when you do. I will look into this further as well :)

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the reply. My confusion really has to do with the time-frame 1000 years after the tribulation (God's wrath) at the end of the Millennial Reign.

The believers that have reigned with Jesus on earth for 1000 years are then suddenly joined by the unbelievers. The believers will apparently be scattered around earth, outside of the new Jerusalem, to the point where they have nations.

Rev 20:9 describes Satan the gathering of the wicked for war, surrounding new Jerusalem. A lot of detail is actually provided.

So my confusion is about the believers. Are they actually scattered around the earth during the 1000 year period? Is there any indication they moved after Satan is released from the abyss?
